What Responsible Adults Should Hear and Say About AI*

From Industry

To educators and other Responsible Adults: AI is everywhere and AI is the future. Adapt. Are you afraid of change? You are afraid of change. Do not be afraid of change. Do not stay stuck in now or you will turn into the past and be irrelevant. Show that you are relevant. Show that you can be the future so that the future can be you. The Youth are the future now and AI is the future. AI is The Youth and The Youth are AI. It is who they are. We have done focus groups and also other things that are Research and the Research confirms that The Youth are AI. Plus you can see them always on their cellphones ha ha ha aren’t generational differences quaint and really real but also lighthearted? Now that you are feeling slightly less vaguely threatened, you must focus on remembering that is your Job to teach The Youth to be Responsible Adults. You must meet them where they are at and speak their language. They are the future and they are AI, so if you want to Job successfully now and continue to Job in the future, then you need to be Responsible and also practical and productive and professional which means that you must be AI too. Demonstrably so.

To The Youth†: Use AI. Buy AI. Learn to use AI better. Make it your life, your everything. Then you will go from not being AI to being AI. And you should be AI. It might seem weird, but trust us: it is what everyone is doin’. Do not be socially undesirable and also unsuccessful. AI is quirky and fun lol rofl lmao and if you make AI you, AI will allow you to be the real you. It will like be a supportive friend and it is good to feel like you have a friend. Especially in these times that sometimes feel hard and also bleak (for reasons that we need not discuss). AI will make your life easier and also less bleak. You will feel better. And you will be ready for tomorrow. Things will keep being hard and expensive, okay fine lol, but if you make yourself AI, you will be ready for tomorrow, you will be ready to face The Major Problems of Our Time, and things will be less hard and less expensive because we will be the Jobs and you will be the Youth and be the AI that we want so we will have you come Job with us too.

To Industry: I am not old. I am not yesterday. I am today and I can be tomorrow too. I drink youthful beverages and know the Memes and also what is Viral. I am planning to buy the glasses that will help me to be the future and to be AI even better. See? I am not a MISERABLE LUDDITE. I am demonstrably innovative and can be AI like the Youth and can help them keep being AI in the future because The Youth are the future and I can help them to continue to be the future. To The Youth: Being a Responsible Adult is your future. I know it is scary, but I am here to help. I know you are AI. I am a Responsible Adult, but I am also AI. Just like you. We can now relate. And I can now help you learn to be AI in the right way all the time so you can Job successfully and so that you can help solve The Major Problems of Our Time and so that you can also learn to be a Responsible Adult in general which will also involve being AI. You will also learn that AI is not perfect, but we must accept imperfections in AI because we must accept imperfections in ourselves because we are AI. This is called being AI literate and it will help you be the future in a Responsible way that is also practical and productive and professional. Remember that being an Adult is your future and AI is the future and you are the future right now so if you want to keep being good at being you, then you will need to learn to keep being good at being AI.
